I am no longer selling slings, silks or toys... many thanks to the lovely mothers and fathers who have supported our business over the past four years.

I am, however, very much still in the business of being a joyful mama! As of May 2006, we are still home schooling, now living on a farm, our son is 9, our daughter 4, and we are about to welcome a new little baby into the family! Every year I marvel at how God has grown me in joy. When God first led me to start this site, I joked that the idea of me as a "joyful mama" could only be prophetic... I sure didn't FEEL joyful. Now the actions, choosing to follow and allow God to bring joy into my heart no matter the circumstance, have been followed by the feelings. Sure, I get frustrated sometimes. But there is a balance, a sense of perspective, that I didn't have before. If I can have that, you can too!

God willing, I will be writing more. He has put it in my heart to encourage mothers. I remain convinced that our ministry as mothers is the single most profound work we have to do on this earth. Sisters, you have been entrusted with the lives that will make this world a place worth living in! Stand firm, and take heart! What confidence God has in you!
